Who we are

Anakai is a tool built by Digital Joi Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14874355). Digital Joi Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, contact us at hello@digitaljoi.com.

What we collect

When you join the Anakai waitlist, we collect the email address you give us. We also record the date and time you signed up. We do not ask for or collect any other personal information through the waitlist form.

Why we collect it

We use your email address to send you launch updates and early access information about Anakai. We do not use it for anything else.

Our lawful basis

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), our lawful basis for processing your email address is your consent, which you give when you join the waitlist. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

Where your data is stored

Waitlist email addresses are stored in a secure PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon, our database provider. Neon processes this data on our behalf and only under our instructions.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe, or until we close the waitlist after Anakai launches, whichever comes first. After that, we delete it.

Sharing your data

We never sell your personal data, and we never share it with anyone for their own marketing. The only third party that handles your email address is the database provider named above, which stores it on our behalf.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and it does not set any tracking cookies. Only essential cookies are used, where needed for the site to work.

To display our typeface, the site loads a font file from Fontshare. When your browser requests that file, Fontshare receives standard technical information such as your IP address, as with any web request. We do not receive or use this information.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • ask us to correct data that is inaccurate
  • ask us to delete your data
  • withdraw your consent at any time

To use any of these rights, email hello@digitaljoi.com.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Unsubscribing

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also unsubscribe at any time by emailing hello@digitaljoi.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
